Blacksmith Oil Tools has abandoned 4,000+ oil and gas wells with the help of our coil tubing deployed designed tools. We have several patent pending  All in One tools that save a trip in and out of the well. We're the only ones that can set a retainer, sting in, and perforate in one trip! We do abrasion jet perforating, surface casing vent flow leaks, re-entries, tension packer casing leak detection,  CICR's (cement retainers), CIBP's (bridge plugs), and balance cement plugs. Blacksmith Oil Tools has been a leader in oil and gas abandonment projects in the past 8 years. We often write the job programs for our clients or give technical advice when needed. When it comes to an orphan well there is no profit margin for our customer. We don't like to go over budget and we don't like coming back to fix past wells. When it's plugged it plugged.

 Previously, bridge plugs, cement retainers, setting tools, etc... were all designed for a work over deployment. As you can see in our downhole tool page, we design our tools to be deployed by coiled tubing. The Blacksmith designs avoid lost tools, lower set pressures, speed rig up time, and lower costs.
