Coil Unit Equipment
Blacksmith Oil Tools has two body load units. They were designed for tough terrain and tight leases that bulky trailer units can't get to. When we lock the axles in there's no stopping us! We can accommodate our customers from 1.25", 1.50", or 1.75" coil ranging to the max depth of 15,000'. Unit 1 has a 2000 psi 600 cfm air compressor, 2.5 gallon BOP accumulator, 0.5bbl/minute triplex pump, knuckle picker, chemical tank, 30,000# or 45,000# injector. Unit 2 holds more coil capacity with level wind reels, jack up control cab, 2x 11 gallon BOP accumulators, large knuckle picker, purge compressor, and a 45,000# coil injector.
Safety First Attitude, Maintenance, and Care
Blacksmith Oil Tools tries to have a safer coil unit than our competitors. We've added pop off valves on our swivel, whip checks, secondary crane hooks, skate isolation valves, and crane smart systems. On hand are also H2S monitors and an air pack in case we (heaven forbid) have to do a rescue.
Experience and Training
We cut our teeth in shallow methane gas fields in the 90's. It was a highly competitive market. Being faster than the next guy was key but we also learnt many lessons the hard way. These lessons proved valuable once we started working with different formations, pressures, and well types.
